The Two Mosaic Potash Carlsbad Underground Mine Rescue Teams competed in the 2010 National Mine
Rescue Competition held in Reno, NV on July 27-29. Thirty Seven Teams from across the nation were
competing for the top 6 positions and trophies in three categories, Mine Rescue Field problem,
Technician Team, and First Aid. After three days of competing the Mosaic White First Aid team placed
Second in the First Aid Competition, and the Mosaic Black Field team placed Fifth in the Field
Competition.
White Team Members are: Kevin Cummins, James Pierce, Nicholas Flores, Clinton Tiffner, Alvino Lopez,
Chris Smith, Chris Vasquez, and Zachary Weaver. First Aid Team members are: Nicholas Flores, Clinton
Tiffner, Chris Vasquez. Technician team members are: Chris Smith and James Pierce.
Black Team Members are: Michael Ackman, Paul Mager, David Vaughn, Robert Johnson, Gentry Fugate,
David Miller, Jeremy Badgett. First Aid Team members are: Michael Ackman, Robert Johnson, David
Vaughn. Technician Team Members are: David Miller and Paul Mager.
