| On January 7, 2003, staff members from the PA Bureau of Deep Mine Safety assembled at the mine rescue station in Ebensburg, PA to dedicate the recently aquired mine rescue vehicle. This event culminated an aquisition process which began following a harrowing and near fatal motor vehicle accident involving mine rescue instructor, Jeff Stanchek. The audience was adressed by DEP Secretary David Hess; Northeast Region District Manager, Jim Petrie; Acting DMS Director, Paul Hummel; and Jeff Stanchek. |
