Sago Mine Commemorative Items
On behalf of the membership of the U. S. Mine Rescue Association, we offer our deepest and most sincere condolelences to the families of the fallen miners at the Sago and Alma mines.
Your loss cannot be measured by mere words. It is our fervent hope that the tragedies which snatched these men from our lives will ultimately bring about a safer workplace for those that follow.

Donations received by the USMRA will be forwarded to the IMC, Sago Mine Fund in New York. The Sago Fund was formed to provide financial support to the families of these miners and other victims of mining disasters. ICG has provided an initial contribution of $2.0 million. The USMRA is proud to be part of this effort.
